US House lawmakers advance bill to help break up Big Tech companies

The US House Judiciary Committee today advanced an antitrust bill that would provide a structural solution to prevent dominant online platforms from leveraging their monopoly power. The bill, the final piece of legislation in a set of six aimed at curbing online platforms’ dominance, was advanced by a narrow 21-20 vote.
