US FTC's Holyoak says it's 'concerning' when antitrust agencies ask global counterparts to take action against mergers

US Republican Federal Trade Commissioner Melissa Holyoak said she finds it worrisome if competition enforcers that are unable to challenge a merger in their own jurisdiction turn to their international counterparts instead and ask them to take action against a deal in that region.
