US Anesthesia Partners to face FTC suit over rollup; investor Welsh Carson's case dismissed

US Anesthesia Partners will face allegations from the US Federal Trade Commission that it illegally monopolized anesthesiology services in Texas through an anticompetitive rollup, even as private equity firm Welsh Carson, which had generated some of the acquisition strategy as part of its investment in USAP, escaped the lawsuit.
