Legislation to bar Google from forcing proprietary in-app payment system makes headway in South Korea

In an apparent blow to Google’s upcoming in-app payment policies set to take effect in October, legislation in South Korea to block the tech giant’s requirement to use its proprietary billing system for in-app purchases, as well as pay a 30 percent cut on all transactions, is heading into the homestretch
