Hanwha's proposed takeover of Daewoo Shipbuilding raises competition concerns, South Korean regulator says

Plans by South Korea's Hanwha to acquire Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has been granted clearance by competition regulators in several jurisdictions. However, the South Korean regulator is exercising caution, scrutinizing the potential for foreclosure in the naval-vessel and weapon-systems markets.
