Evergreen Marine counters South Korean antitrust sanctions in final hearing, citing maritime laws

Lawyers for Evergreen Marine, implicated in a price-fixing cartel, attacked what they said was the lack of grounds for the South Korean antitrust watchdog’s sanction decision in their closing arguments in court today, denying any involvement in collusive actions and maintaining that the company operated within the legal bounds of maritime
