Coupang to be examined for data transfers to China, a South Korean lawmaker says

South Korean e-commerce giant Coupang will be scrutinized by the country’s privacy regulator for data transfers to its China-based subsidiary, a lawmaker said during a recent parliamentary audit hearing.
