Chicken industry execs ‘secretly ganged up’ to amass profits, US DOJ tells jurors in third retrial of price-fixing case

Five chicken industry executives “secretly ganged up” to rig prices of broiler chicken for years and stacked the deck in their favor at the expense of customers, the US Department of Justice told jurors today at an unprecedented third trial in the criminal antitrust case.
