Canadian Pacific-Kansas City Southern merger wins conditional, non-unanimous approval from US Surface Transportation Board

Canadian Pacific Railway’s $31 billion acquisition of Kansas City Southern has been approved with conditions by the US Surface Transportation Board in a 4-1 vote, marking the first successful major rail merger in more than two decades.
