Apple, Google could face hefty fines for compelling use of payment methods in South Korea

Apple and Google will likely face fines of up to 2 percent of relevant sales if they continue to coerce developers to use their proprietary payment systems for in-app purchases, according to a draft enforcement decree for the new South Korean law governing app-store operators.
