WhatsApp receives notice from Indian Supreme Court on privacy policy

The Supreme Court of India has threatened to intervene to protect the privacy rights of citizens in the wake of the proposed change in WhatsApp's privacy policy. 
WhatsApp announced a change in its privacy policy (see here) on Jan. 4, requiring users outside the European Union either to agree to an updated privacy policy
