WhatsApp battle with Israeli software companies over encryption poised to move forward in US court

WhatsApp and Israeli security software company NSO Group Technologies appear poised to pursue a protracted court battle after all, over the messaging platform’s claim that NSO used malicious software to pierce the encryption on video calls to allow its customers to spy on journalists, human rights activists and others.
