Water treatment companies see EU dawn raids over bid-rigging suspicions

Water treatment plant builders have received unannounced inspections by the European Commission on suspicion of rigging tenders involving EU funds, the regulator said today. 
The dawn raids were carried out in one EU country by the commission and the national competition authority from the member state involved.
