Volkswagen files amended complaint in US fraud lawsuit accusing software provider Smartcar of unauthorized data access

Carmaker Volkswagen’s US unit filed an amended complaint in its suit against California-based software developer Smartcar for allegedly accessing its network and data illegally to promote its products used by third-party applications for vehicle-related services.
