Vodafone Spain fined EUR8 million for GDPR and telecom law breaches

Vodafone Spain has been fined a total of 8.15 million euros ($9.7 million) for violating EU privacy laws as well as telecom and e-commerce rules, the Spanish data protection authority said today.

The AEPD's action was taken after it found the company in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation'
