Veolia unit SARP notifies purchase of Suez RV Osis for EU approval

French water company Veolia has requested EU approval for its industrial cleaning unit, SARP, to buy a subsidiary of rival Suez, according to an update today on the European Commission's register of deals.
The commission has set a March 16 deadline to decide on the deal.
