Veolia-Suez deal cleared in US, Colombia, Ecuador, South Korea

French water and waste-management company Veolia’s proposed acquisition of rival Suez has been cleared in the United States, Colombia, Ecuador and South Korea, according to a filing with the Brazilian competition authority.
The companies notified the deal with the Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, using a full-form notification,
