UTC and Raytheon offer to amend merger in bid for EU approval

United Technologies Corporation and Raytheon have offered to amend their merger in bid to win EU clearance, MLex has learned. 

The European Commission is expected to respond by extending its deadline to decide on the acquisition until March 13.
