US trade chief Tai faces pressure from senators to fix 'opaque' Section 301 tariff exclusions

A controversial process to exclude some products from US tariffs on China continues to frustrate thousands of domestic companies, prompting Senate appropriators today to press US trade chief Katherine Tai on when the Biden administration will address the problem.

Tai, however, didn't provide the timeline for action sought by Senator Jeanne
