US states taking on TikTok overstep their authority, judges say

Indiana’s claims that TikTok shared data with the Chinese government and lied about safety were dismissed by a state judge yesterday, the same day the video app won a preliminary injunction against Montana’s ban, with both judges finding that their respective states overstepped authority.
