US House speaker derides tech business model, says online platforms need fundamental 'rethink'

The Speaker of the US House today said there's bipartisan support to “fundamentally rethink” online platforms, even as the US lawmaker heading a tech industry antitrust probe suggested his panel could target privacy as well as competition reforms.
