US House passes bill to track government settlements

The US House today unanimously passed a bill that aims to make government settlements more transparent.

H.R. 300, the Settlement Agreement Information Database (SAID) Act, aims to ensure that all executive agencies disclose the settlements they are party to and track the settlements through a database (see here).
