US aluminum extrusion scope rulings for door threshold imports need another review, trade court rules

Imported door thresholds with aluminum parts weren’t properly vetted by the US Commerce Department in 2018 scope rulings, the US trade court said in a pair of decisions today ordering the agency to consider whether the imports meet the “finished merchandise” test to escape existing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from China.
