Unlisted, smaller companies in EU might have to report climate impact

Unlisted companies such as Ikea or Aldi could be could be compelled to report their climate-change impact, under plans being consulted on by the European Commission.

The proposals could also make it mandatory for listed companies to provide more details of non-financial environmental issues, as well as extending the scope
