UK watchdog sounds warning over crypto influencers after Kardashian’s US fine

Kim Kardashian’s headline-generating fine for touting EthereumMax on Instagram has prompted an official from the UK’s financial services watchdog to warn would-be investors that crypto-influencers should set off “alarm bells.”

Earlier this week, the US Securities and Exchange Commission fined the celebrity $1.26 million, for failing to disclose that she was paid $250,000
