UK rejects calls for ‘clearer, more stretching’ safety ambition for automated cars

Automated vehicle developers might not see a safety ambition higher than that of a competent and careful human driver for the rollout of their technology on UK roads, after the UK government rejected lawmakers' call to set a "clearer, more stretching threshold."
