Turnover, market share will be assessed under fresh Australian merger-law threshold proposal

Companies doing deals in Australia would face a tough new threshold regime that combines a dealmaker’s local and global turnover with their market share, under a new proposal put forward by the government as part of its broader revamp of merger laws.
