Traton, Volvo, Daimler seek EU approval for truck-charging venture

Volkswagen unit Traton, Volvo and Daimler Truck are seeking EU approval for a joint venture that would install and operate a charging network for electric heavy-duty trucks and coaches in Europe.
The European Commission has set an initial June 16 deadline to decide on the deal.
