Toyota to get $830 million Japan subsidy for EV batteries, Canon, Mitsubishi and 16 others also to get state aid

Japan’s leading manufacturers, including Toyota, Canon, Sumitomo Electric and 16 other companies are receiving state aid to develop key supply chain technology under Japan’s new economic security laws.
