Top economist appointed to senior role with Australia's competition watchdog

A top Australian academic economist will be appointed to one of the most senior roles at the country’s competition watchdog as part of a broader effort to bolster the agency’s economic expertise, according to a key government minister.

James, an Australian journalist with over 25 years’ experience in print and electronic media, helps to oversee MLex’s coverage of regulatory risk in Asia, with special attention to Australia and New Zealand.
