TikTok told it must comply with EU content moderation, ‘gatekeeper’ rules (correct*)

TikTok chief executive Shou Zi Chew was told by senior EU officials that the video-sharing platform should be prepared to comply with EU regulations that require platforms to moderate their content and respect rules obliging them to keep digital markets open, the European Commission said today (see here).
