Thyssenkrupp loses appeal of Tata JV block at EU court, confirming the end of Hutchison hiccup

Thyssenkrupp lost its court battle to overturn the European Commission’s 2019 veto of its joint venture with Indian rival Tata Steel’s European operations today (see here), with the EU’s top court confirming that the regulator had legally prohibited the deal in 2019. 
With that, the EU’s Court of Justice cements
