Thoma Bravo-Darktrace deal needs antitrust, security clearances in range of countries

Thoma Bravo’s planned $5.3 billion acquisition of British cybersecurity company Darktrace will need antitrust approvals in Australia, Austria, South Africa, the UK and US and additional national security clearances.

The planned buyout by the US private equity firm, announced today, is also conditional on foreign investment approval in Australia, France, Italy
