Thermo Fisher-PPD deal remains on fast track in Brazil despite request for additional information

Thermo Fisher’s proposed acquisition of pharmaceutical-research company PPD Inc. will continue to be reviewed under a fast-track procedure in Brazil, the country's competition agency told MLex.
The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, had requested additional information from the companies, but it didn’t trigger the requirement for filing
