Texas social media bill sinks after House fails to act before deadline

A Texas bill regulating social media content moderation practices failed last night in the statehouse, but supporters say they’ll attempt to resurrect it though a special session.
SB 12 would have banned large social media platforms from “censoring” users based on their viewpoint, and empowered state residents to sue companies
