Texas social media bill closer to clearing both statehouse chambers (correct*)

Texas is close to becoming the second state to regulate social media after the state House of Representatives approved Friday night a bill opening up large platforms to lawsuits alleging political censorship.

The House approved the bill 76-44 in a vote that titled heavily Republican — only three Republicans voted against it.
