Tesla wins individual treatment in EU countervailing probe on Chinese EVs

US carmaker Tesla's plant in Shanghai has been granted an individual treatment in the EU’s blockbuster countervailing investigation into imports of electric vehicles from China, the European Commission has said. This means the company is likely to secure lower duties than all other China-based EV exporters.
