Synopsys-Ansys competitors, customers, gear up to oppose deal in EU

Synopsys’ bid to take over rival software company Ansys has competitors and customers gearing up to warn the European Commission of the dangers of the tie up for the electronic design automation software market, MLex has learned.
They worry that the combination will allow the merged entity to control too
