Supermercados BH-Sales deal cleared conditioned on sale of assets in Brazil

Supermarket chain Supermercados BH Comércio de Alimentos' planned buyout of rival Comércio e Distribuição Sales was cleared today by the Brazilian competition authority's Tribunal. The approval is conditioned on the sale of certain supermarket assets from the parties in Carandaí, in Minas Gerais state.
