Streaming services face French funding obligations under 'urgent' push to transpose EU copyright law

Netflix, Amazon.com, the Walt Disney Co. and other streaming services may soon face demands to contribute to France's movie industry after the French government called for urgency in writing EU copyright laws into the domestic statute book.
