State privacy enforcers say businesses working to address potential violations

State privacy enforcers today said businesses have been surprisingly willing to work with them to address potential violations of consumer privacy laws.
Enforcement of the Colorado Privacy Act began last July, and the attorney general’s office has already sent letters to companies collecting and processing sensitive data without proper consent,
