Small livestock farms should be exempt from EU industrial emissions rules, lawmakers say

Smaller livestock farmers should be excluded from obligations under the EU's Industrial Emissions Directive, while an amendment from center-right lawmakers pushing for looser rules failed, after a vote in the European Parliament's environment committee.
The committee has approved an amendment raising the key figures that determine which farms are covered
