Siemens Healthineers amends Varian deal in bid for EU approval

Siemens Healthineers has offered to amend its bid to buy Varian, a deal which is undergoing an EU merger-control review.
The European Commission responded by extending its deadline to decide on the deal until Feb. 19.

The German company submitted the proposal Friday, according to the EU regulator's register
