Shopback e-commerce platform finds 'one-off case of human error' not a valid data-breach defense in Singapore

When e-commerce platform Shopback was explaining to Singapore’s personal data-protection regulator how its user database ended up for sale on an online forum in November 2020, it pointed to a single human error as the cause of the breach.
