Schwarz files acquisition of certain Suez operations for EU review

German retail giant Schwarz Group has requested EU approval to buy Suez’s recycling operations in four European countries, according to an update today on the European Commission's register of deals.
The commission has set a March 26 deadline to decide on the 1.1 billion-euro ($1.34 billion) deal.
