SAMR issues proposed scales of fines for merger-control violations in China

China's antitrust regulator today released a set of proposed benchmarks that clarify its approach to determining pecuniary penalties for merger-control violations.
The State Administration for Market Regulation, or SAMR, put up the draft benchmarks for public comment until Sept. 14 (see here).
