SAMR completes average of two merger reviews per day amid Covid-19 outbreak

China’s State Administration for Market Regulation, or SAMR, is now completing, on average, two merger reviews each working day amid the outbreak of Covid-19. By continuing to effectively work through reviews, the regulator is hoping to enable companies to resume normal activities.
