Reynders, Jourová take on key EU posts as Vestager goes on leave

Didier Reynders will become the EU’s new competition commissioner and Věra Jourová will oversee the bloc’s digital regulation after the incumbent Margrethe Vestager went on unpaid leave today.
The reshuffle was triggered by Vestager’s decision to run for a new job as president of the European Investment Bank.
