Reanalysis of mergers cleared by CADE Superintendence should only aim to fix ‘serious failures,’ superintendent says

The Brazilian competition authority's Tribunal should reanalyze deals already approved by the Superintendence when the analyses carried out have "serious failures," and not simply to address theories that won't change the decision, agency Superintendent Alexandre Cordeiro said, referring to recent requests by councilors to re-review transactions approved by his unit.
