PSA and Fiat Chrysler see merger sent for in-depth EU review

Groupe PSA and rival automaker Fiat Chrysler have seen an in-depth EU probe opened today into their planned merger of equals.
The European Commission cited concerns about reduction of competition for light commercial vehicles below 3.5 tonnes in Europe (see here).
